Patient FAQ

Common Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Bloomfield Wellness & Aesthetics is a cash-based practice and does not bill insurance for office visits or services. HSA or FSA cards may be accepted for eligible services. Blood work ordered by your provider may be submitted to your insurance by the outside laboratory. Coverage is determined by your individual insurance policy and deductible.

Will my laboratory testing be covered by insurance?

Coverage varies depending on the type of testing, laboratory used, your insurance plan, medical necessity requirements, and your deductible. Patients should contact their insurer directly when they would like to confirm coverage before testing.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring a current medication and supplement list, relevant medical history, recent laboratory results, and any information requested when your appointment was scheduled.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to the practice cancellation or no-show policy.

Can I book a consultation before choosing a treatment?

Yes. If you are unsure which service is appropriate for you, booking a consultation is often the best place to start. Your provider can evaluate your goals and recommend appropriate next steps.
